This page explains how to delete your KiasuLabs app account and the personal data associated with it. KiasuLabs is operated by HASHSPARKS PTE. LTD. (UEN: 202325470E).
Deleting your account is permanent once processed. You will lose access to study progress, practice history, AI tutor conversations, streaks, and any active subscription benefits tied to that account.
How to delete your account
- Cancel active subscriptions first. If you have a paid subscription, cancel it in the KiasuLabs app under Profile → Manage subscriptions, or through the store account where you subscribed. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel billing through an external store.
- Open the in-app deletion screen. In the KiasuLabs app, go to Profile → About Kiasu Labs → Delete account.
- Confirm deletion. Tap Delete account permanently and confirm the warning shown in the app. The app deletes your signed-in account directly; you do not need to send an email to complete account deletion.
- Contact us only if you cannot sign in. If you cannot access the account, email contact@kiasulabs.com from the registered address so we can help verify ownership.
Data we delete
When you delete your account in the app, we aim to remove personal data linked to that account, including:
- Account and profile data — email address, display name, authentication records, age band, school level, subjects of interest, and account preferences;
- Study activity and product usage data — topics viewed, practice attempts, scores, revision history, familiarity indicators, streaks, bookmarks, session activity, and learning analytics;
- Content you submitted — AI tutor messages, practice answers, prompts, and in-app feedback tied to your account;
- Communications tied to your account — support messages associated with your account, where retention is not required.
We also ask relevant service providers that process data on our behalf to delete or anonymise data associated with your account, where applicable.
Data we may keep
We may retain certain information after an account deletion request where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, tax or accounting requirements, dispute resolution, enforcing our agreements, or backup recovery. Examples include:
- Billing, tax, and accounting records — retained for as long as required by applicable legal, accounting, or tax obligations;
- Security, audit, and technical logs — typically retained for up to 12 months, unless needed longer for incident investigation or legal reasons;
- Support communications — typically retained for up to 24 months after the matter is closed;
- Backups — deleted data may persist in backups for a limited additional period before being overwritten in the ordinary course.

Parents and guardians
If you are a parent or legal guardian requesting deletion of a child’s account, please email contact@kiasulabs.com from your own address and identify the child’s registered account email so we can review the request.
